obsession

chickie has always been obsessed with going outside. it is a constant game of where is chickie quick go outside before she escapes. now leo is obsessed. he tries to claw his way under the door and has escaped 5 or 6 times in the last 2 days. chickie runs out to the grass and munches. leo runs out and ebony tackles him, beats him up and pins him to the ground if he gets outside. at least ebony stops him before he can get outside of the yard. winnie is no help. last night and this morning i put a harness on leo and took him outside. we went over to the grass and he had a snack. hopefully this new urge to escape will wane and we won't have to play the chase the cat game everyday until cold weather returns.
